La villa romaine

The Gallo-Roman villa in Nadrin lasts from the 2nd and from the 3rd centuries of our period. The excavations that enabled to safe the hypocaust, the central heating of that period, and its prefornium, the firebox, have also enabled to free the cave and the rests of the building that was reserved to the master, that have been restaured. It is a classical country-villa with a front gallery whose dimensions are 24x30m. This villa was left likely because of a fire towards the middle of the 3rd century.
